Simulation of Visual Impairments for Architectural Purposes

This project enables the architects to view the digital 3D edition of their model in real space using augmented reality from the perspective of the visually impaired so that they can modify their model as per the needs of the visually impaired.

For Architect's Companion

View various pre existing and runtime objects in augmented reality from the perspective of visually impaired (Simulates Glaucoma, Macular Degeneration & Cataract) Just open the app and make suitable selections from the menu provided and simulate.

For runtime objects, import the object file as a link to the server where the 3D object is hosted.

Bring the following image into the camera frame to turn mic on/off

Speak the name of the simulation like "Glaucoma", "Macular Degeneration" or "Cataract"

Then bring any of the following images into the camera frame to bring the corresponding virtual objects in real world.

This app is suitable for VR headsets that have a hole for camera.
